Collaboration is the best way to work because I don’t think life should be a solo act, rather a collaboration. Sometimes all it takes is another’s perspective to inspire you. I had a chance to shoot a vintage editorial with Austin photographer, Philip Anderson Edsel. I had never shot something like this before (I tend to giggle when I try to make a serious face on camera), but I kid you not, the outfits put me at ease. Jill Watson styled this shoot and needless to say, she gets it. Some people have the style gene and some don’t, Jill styled me in n ivory skirt and a crisp turtleneck crop top set from Nordstroms, a classic vintage dress from Anthropolgie, and high-waisted burnt orange bikini bottoms with a cozy tank sporting a dainty mock collar and just like that, I felt in character. I hope to collaborate with the two again soon, they make a power team.

Really loved Jills outfit choices all around! You should check out The Style Scribe. She’s also from Dallas and yall have similar tastes!
