Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend, did not own a dog.
I know by the look in Hazel’s eyes she thinks I am completely nuts but taking care of Hazel makes me feel so alive. If you follow me on snapchat, you know Hazel is a huge part of my life. If you love dogs as much as I do, please do come say hi. My Snapchat username is “DaniATX”.
We snapped these pics on the way to the park with my Hazel girl. I had been looking for a fun peacoat this winter and immediately fell in love with this one from Thread and Supply. The quality, style, fit, and price were so pleasing, I knew I had to have. I found this gem at Marshall’s but 3 days later I saw it on Nordstrom’s website under “Just Added.” Unfortunately, it’s no longer available but I linked some of my favorite affordable peacoats and striped long sleeve dresses below for y’all! This ultra soft striped long sleeve shift dress is one of my favorites because I can wear it yearlong and have fun styling it with weather appropriate accessories. Decided to go red with this wide-brimmed fedora-ish hat and red scarf paired with a sturdy pair of knee high boots.

You dress up or create a certain style because you love it, not because you feel pressured to “dress nice” and Austin is so accepting of creativity and weirdness, it’s easy to do your own thing and be you. Of course my mom comes and visits me and and thinks I have turned into a total hippie. haha
