Spring is always magical.

And I’m not talking only in terms of fashion. First, it begs pops of color and adding in a pop of bright color is always a good idea. Second, it’s all about growth. I’ve noticed that the most exciting and spontaneous times in my life start in spring, starting with SXSW in Austin, Texas.

This Spring I had the chance to walk the streets of downtown Austin experiencing the infamous SXSW for my 4th year in a row. With two whole weeks of film premieres, panel events, concerts, showcases, DJs, and It-girls turning up on the party circuit, I was energetic and ready to soak every bit of it in.

To start off the week, I found the perfect t-shirt dress from Urban Outfitters to explore the many panels in. I don’t typically shop at Urban but had a little bit of free time and found myself on 2nd street and was insanely curious as to what was up with the store since I last wandered in, in 2015. I purchased this t-shirt dress without even trying it on. To stay cool during the day and warm in the evenings, I threw on a denim jacket with my favorite pair of white slip-on sneaks.
